Connexus has started work on a development of 14 affordable homes in Much Wenlock, giving people a much-needed opportunity to find a property within their local community.

Residents have started moving into their new homes at a Connexus housing development in Broseley, Shropshire. Local councillors joined representatives from Connexus to celebrate the completion of the development, which includes a mix of homes for affordable rent and Shared Ownership.

Connexus and Shropshire Homes have completed the first phase of a new affordable housing development in Orleton, Herefordshire. Alongside new homes available for social rent, shared ownership and open market purchase, Connexus has worked with Herefordshire Council and construction partner Shropshire Homes to deliver a car park to nearby Orleton Primary School.

£1.9m grant money will be spent on retrofit works projects to increase energy efficiency in tenants’ homes.
