Home Contents Insurance

Tenants and residents: do you have home contents insurance?

Connexus insures buildings, but your belongings are not covered.

Some customers think Connexus automatically insures furniture, decorations and personal items against fire, theft, vandalism or water damage. This is not the case.

You are responsible for taking out contents insurance to protect items such as carpets, TVs, furniture and personal belongings.

If you don’t have contents insurance and something happens – like a fire or a flood – Connexus cannot replace your items, and you could be left with nothing.

There are many affordable insurance options available, and comparison websites can help you find a policy that suits you. Most providers offer monthly or annual payments.
