Christmas comes early in Broseley as residents move into new homes
Residents have started moving into their new homes at a Connexus housing development in Broseley, Shropshire. Local councillors joined representatives from Connexus to celebrate the completion of the development, which includes a mix of 14 homes for affordable rent and 10 homes for Shared Ownership.
Cllr. Ian West, Town Mayor, Cllr. Peter Smith, and Cllr. Andy Taylor were given a tour of the new development by Amanda Knowles, Head of Development, and Connexus colleagues who worked to deliver this project.
Situated only 6 miles from the nearby town of Bridgnorth and 4 miles from Much Wenlock Broseley sits on the lip of the wooded Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. Prospective new residents must demonstrate their strong local connection to the area, ensuring this affordable housing responds to the housing needs of this specific community. The criteria for local connection are available here.
10 houses for Shared Ownership are available as part of the new development, with each home including a private enclosed garden and the convenience of two parking spaces. Proximity to the local Primary School will also benefit residents with young families.
