Hello,
It continues to be a worrying time with Covid-19 still having a significant impact. Our biggest priority continues to be the safety of our residents and staff and we have amended our ways of working (but still adhering to Government guidelines) to deliver as full a service as possible during this time.
All of us at Connexus are working as hard as we can to get services back to normal as soon as possible. Despite the likely restrictions during this time, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very Happy Christmas and let’s hope that 2021 is a more positive year for all of us!

Christmas comes early in Broseley as residents move into new homes
Residents have started moving into their new homes at a Connexus housing development in Broseley, Shropshire. Local councillors joined representatives from Connexus to celebrate the completion of the development, which includes a mix of homes for affordable rent and Shared Ownership.

Cornish style flats brought back to life in Hereford
Connexus has started a programme of retrofit works to improve the energy efficiency of over 230 properties across Shropshire and Herefordshire.

New car park and safer drop-offs for Orleton Primary School as part of new development
Connexus and Shropshire Homes have completed the first phase of a new affordable housing development in Orleton, Herefordshire. Alongside new homes available for social rent, shared ownership and open market purchase, Connexus has worked with Herefordshire Council and construction partner Shropshire Homes to deliver a car park to nearby Orleton Primary School.

£2.5m grant awarded to support rough sleepers in Shropshire
Shropshire Council has been awarded £2.5 million following two successful bids for funding to support rough sleepers and those at risk of rough sleeping. Connexus is part of a multi-agency team working with the Council on this transformative project.

Regulatory regrade for Connexus
Connexus has received a change of grading from The Regulator of Social Housing, following a Regulatory Judgement. The organisation’s financial viability rating will move from V1 to V2 while retaining its G1 rating for governance.
