A deal has been struck to transfer the ownership of Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and lease 12 hectares of surrounding meadow land to a local charity.
A Church Stretton-based Knit and Natter group have raised and donated over £800 to local community organisations, including Ring and Ride, Church Stretton Town Football Club, Strettonia Boxing Club and Church Stretton Dementia Support Group.
