Connexus welcomes Sara Woodall as Operations Director

Connexus has appointed Sara Woodall to the role of director of operations, further strengthening the executive management team.

Sara has significant experience at executive director level, having previously worked in leadership roles at GreenSquareAccord and Heantun Housing Association.  As director of operations Sara is responsible for providing strategic advice, leadership, and direction for the operations directorate of the business, which covers repairs, communities and the organisation’s support services.  Teams in the directorate aim to deliver high quality services, provide exceptional value for money and a positive customer experience.

On joining Connexus Sara said: “I’m really pleased to have joined the business at an exciting time and look forward to working with customers and colleagues to shape our services in the future.

Richard Woolley, chief executive at Connexus said the appointment “is the perfect fit for the organisation at a time when we are looking to refocus and re-develop our offer to reflect what matters to our customers as the country emerges from the pandemic.”

Richard added: “Sara has an incredible amount of experience, and we’re keen to draw on that. Her passion for providing a clear direction for staff and then empowering them to deliver for our customers is something that really resonated with us. In her first few weeks in the role, Sara has been keen to get out and about are learn more about how Connexus delivers its services first-hand. As well as meeting colleagues from different teams, Sara has been visiting housing schemes and meeting customers across Shropshire and Herefordshire.
