Connexus launches Rural Voice

To coincide with Rural Housing Week 2025, Connexus has launched Rural Voice, a companion piece to the 2025-2030 Corporate Plan: homes you can build a life in.

Rural Voice explores the unique challenges facing the rural communities Connexus serve, many of which have been overlooked for decades. This includes widespread inequality and the rurality premium – seeing those living in the countryside paying more for housing, goods and services than those in urban areas.

It sets out how Connexus is responding to these challenges and calls for greater support from those we work alongside, including policymakers at both local and national levels, as well as peers in the housing and public sectors.
