Changes to the repairs service at Connexus
Maintaining customer homes is a priority for Connexus, but sometimes to make sure the organisation is delivering the most effective and efficient service it can, changes need to be made to how services are delivered. In recent times the increased demand and market pressures all businesses are facing has meant Connexus is having to review the service it offers around external repairs.
This means some changes to services, beginning this month.
Prioritising internal repairs
Connexus will now be prioritising repairs in the home. Fencing and other external work and repairs and maintenance work to garages will now be classed as non-essential and will be prioritised at a later date. This doesn’t mean Connexus won’t carry out the repair, but unless it’s a health and safety risk, work will be carried out in the future.
Can I still report my repair?
Yes, please report any repairs you have in the normal way for both the inside and outside of your home. You can do this by calling, emailing and messaging Connexus on social media. You can also use the online form on this website.
Any external repair you report will now be assessed, made safe if it’s a health and safety risk, with repairs booked for a later date.
Future repairs service – have your say
Although Connexus is putting these changes into place to react to challenges around the supply availability and cost of materials, the organisation is reviewing its approach to delivering the repairs service in the longer term.
To help shape these changes a brand-new consultation is being launched around the repairs service which the team at Connexus wants to hear your thoughts on. It looks at what the future may look like for the service, what the organisation may be able to standardise and explores different appointment options to make your lives easier when a repair is needed.
