The Government has plans to get everyone of working age that can work, into work. Most jobs require some computer skills to find a job and then to do the job.

Connexus provides one to one support in several locations throughout Shropshire and Herefordshire.

Support can be tailored to suit your needs and includes:

  • Writing and updating CVs and help with making job applications
  • Help to get online and access universal jobs searches and 'entitled to' websites
  • Matching job seekers to opportunities with local businesses
  • Liaising with the Jobcentre
  • Interview skills practice
  • Access to general or bespoke training

Getting Older Adults on Line (GOAL). Tuition, help and advice on computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones etc to those over the age of 55. There is no time limit on how many sessions you do. Tuesday mornings 09.30 - 10.30 and 10.45 - 11.45 and for more advanced work noon - 13.00. Friday mornings from 10.15 to 11.15 and 11.30 to 12.30.
